Cradle to Cradle Network; What can be learned from the use of ‘Cradle to Cradle’ in the Netherlands and Belgium
This FREE event will be based around the concept of ‘Cradle to Cradle’ and how it is being employed within building design in the Netherlands and Belgium to produce potential environmental, social and economical benefits.
‘Cradle to Cradle’ is a principle based concept developed by scientist Michael Braungart and architect William McDonough and is an economic, social and environmental framework that seeks to focus innovation on beneficial systems that are not just efficient but effectively waste free.
‘Cradle to Cradle’ thinking is already being applied in many Europe regions. In order to learn from these examples Suffolk County Council is a partner of a European wide ‘Cradle to Cradle Network’ through which many ‘good initiatives’ have been identified.
We would like to invite you along to this event at which we will be exploring how we might learn and benefit from some good initiatives from the Netherlands and Belgium where a ‘Cradle to Cradle’ approach has been employed. This is a great opportunity to learn about how the ‘Cradle to Cradle’ concept is being understood and used across Europe.
Places for this innovative event are free but will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to attend or would like more information please contact Michael Gray at email@example.com.
